UCLA CPO Basic Needs

Description: Students can find a plethora of resources dedicated to helping them with security on basic needs. These resources are provided both on-campus and off-campus for students all across UCLA. Resources include transportation, food security, financial wellness, education on cooking, and technological resources such as laptops.

Description: For UCLA students who may be experiencing hunger and/or struggling to attain food due to financial hardships. The Food Closet accepts stock and checks as donations. Fresh produce, canned goods, and toiletries.

UCLA CPO FITTED EATS

Description: Student-run organization dedicated to having students live a better physical lifestyle by offering informational seminars and resources. The goal is to promote personal growth and wellness for an individual while incorporating healthy habits into their lives.

UCLA CPO Bruin Bites

Description: Bruin Dine is a student organization that recovers leftover food from UCLA Dining Halls and redistributes it to students.

ECRT Emergency Meal Program

The Economic Crisis Response Team (ECRT) provides support and guidance to students who have self-identified, or are identified by UCLA faculty or staff, as experiencing a financial crisis that impacts their academic success at UCLA. They aim to efficiently, compassionately and discreetly:

  1. Provide a seamless and individualized response to UCLA students in extraordinary financial crisis.
  2. Develop proposals for actions to examine (and revise, when appropriate) university policies and office protocols in order to improve students' ability to manage their financial situations and avoid economic crisis.

UCLA CalFresh

Description: If a student is in need of financial help for food and meet eligibility requirements, they can apply online and get monthly assistance for groceries. The applications are reviewed based on who you regularly cook and prepare foods with.
